The Story of a Photographer

I'm Alexandra, the owner and photographer behind the camera here at Organic Frame. I have 4 children who grow quicker than a blink of an eye and always on an adventure. I realize the importance of capturing a fleeting moment so it can be looked back on for years to come.

I love capturing organic moments, that showcase connection. I truly believe its the brush of a hand or that stolen glance shared between two people, or the way a childs face lights up with laughter but my absolute favorite is catching those moments between moments. I won't ask you to "pose" (only a smidge!) But I will ask you to have fun, act silly, tickle those kids, play silly games and blow bubbles ( I have yet to meet a kid that didn't LOVE bubbles!)

I'm after those organic moments between you and your special people, the ones that leave a mark on your story, where you're so wrapped up in the moment and emotion, savoring it, to try and encapsulate it - that's where I come in! These moments really are the ones we end up treasuring, and long for, long after they have passed.

I am based in Winnipeg, Manitoba but am happy to travel to surrounding communities. I'm very passionate about family, maternity, newborn and engagement photography. Being in natural light and outdoors is where I thrive! I do have an infinite love for wildlife and landscape and I've been known to dip my toes in real estate and product photography from time to time.
